Life & Hobbies

In addition to spending time with her nieces and nephew, Dr. Thomas enjoys hiking, reading, sketching, and traveling. Visiting all of National Parks in the United States is on her bucket list, a milestone she hopes to hit in the near future.

After receiving her DMD degree, Dr. Thirumala completed a General Practice Residency with the Montefiore Medical Center and a Pediatric Dental Residency with the Jacobi Medical Center. She is also Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Thirumala is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Kenosha County Dental Society.

Life & Hobbies

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Thirumala enjoys nothing more than spending time with her husband and their three girls. In her free time, she loves to read, bake, and travel!

Dr. Carleen Schmidt has always been interested in being a health care provider. She feels it is important to help her patients achieve good oral health by providing respectful and pleasant dental care.

EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS

Dr Carleen Schmidt's undergraduate studies were at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1988. Her professional affiliations include membership in the Academy of General Dentistry.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS

Community involvement is important to Dr. Schmidt. She is an an active member of the Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Dr. Carleen Schmidt is dedicated to charitable organizations, as well, and a volunteer at the Southside Guadalupe Dental Clinic where she has developed some Spanish speaking ability. Dr. Carleen Schmidt and her two children enjoy outdoor activities, exercise and fitness, bicycling, reading, crafts and music in her spare time.
